On March 1st, Laura Day DelCotto and Jamie Harris are attending the National Association of Women Business Owners’ EPIC Awards in Louisville. PIC stands for Excellence as a woman business owner, Professional accomplishments during the past 5 years, Initiative and creativity in addressing major challenges in her business, and Civic and community involvement. These are all qualities that women business owners display each and every day. The judges are prominent members of the business community, and base their decisions on these four areas.
On March 5th and 6th, Sara Johnston is assisting with the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) Program at Frederick Douglass High School.
On Wednesday, March 7th, attorney Sara Johnston will be attending the Funders and Ending Homelessness event at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center in Lexington, Kentucky. This event is organized by the Lexington Fayette County Government Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention.
Stephanie DeWitt is volunteering in Richmond, Kentucky at Saint Mark Catholic School’s Lenten Fish Fry Fundraiser & Fellowship each Friday in March 5:00pm-7:00pm. Dinners are $5 for children 12 & under and $10 for adults. All proceeds will go to benefit the students of St. Mark School. For more information, please call (859) 623-2989.
On Saturday, March 17th, attorney Heather Pennington is attending Danville Rotary Club’s 8th Annual International Dinner. This event is held at Centre College’s Chowan Hall with social hour beginning at 6:00pm and dinner served at 7:00pm by local residents and businesses with cuisine from over twenty different countries! Tickets are $50.00 each, or a table may be purchased at $400.00 for eight people.
On March 21st, Sara Johnston will be speaking at the Lexington Senior Center for a Now You Know Seminar. This discussion will include information about how to afford the cost of long term care without risking your home, family farm, and other legacies. If you cannot make the March 21st presentation, a similar presentation will be given by Sara Johnston at the Willows at Fritz Farm. This presentation will be geared towards individuals who may have already had an injury or illness and help these individuals ensure they are taking the right steps to preserve their legacies.
