About Heather

Heather began her law career in Cincinnati where she represented financial institutions nationwide in connection with distressed commercial loans and lender liability claims. After practicing for several years, she made the decision to utilize the skills she had acquired, along with her background in accounting, to help guide individuals through difficult financial times. Heather became certified as a Divorce Financial Analyst and started her own business helping individuals understand their finances throughout the divorce process. During that time, Heather also provided legal services to low-income citizens in divorce cases. When Heather and her family moved to Lexington, she was excited to join the DelCotto Law Group. Here, she is able to continue her passion of helping individuals and businesses overcome their financial difficulties, both in and out of bankruptcy.

Heather earned her B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D., cum laude, from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
