DLG attorneys and paraprofessionals are actively involved in the central Kentucky community. We strive to make central Kentucky a better place to live, work and relax for everyone.
The coldest time of the year is upon us! DLG attorney Sara Johnston is teaming up with the Central Kentucky American Inns of Court to once again bring warmth to the Bluegrass. The initiative involves filling warmth boxes placed at Lexington bus stops with coats, gloves, socks, briefcases, and other slightly used items to help keep Lexingtonians warm. This initiative reaches those individuals that may not want to leave their current location and belongings to go to a shelter. If interested in donating your warm items, please email Sara Johnston at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Laura Day DelCotto is a board member for Kentucky’s Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and will be attending a full day board retreat this month for the kick off of NAWBO’s expansion into a new state-wide chapter! For more information on NAWBO, visit their website at http://nawbokentucky.org/index.php.
On February 15th, attorney Sara Johnston will be presenting at The Willows’ Senior Executive Club to discuss how to ensure effortless transitions to nursing homes and how to afford your stay. If interested in attending or finding our more about The Willows’ Senior Executive Club, please e-mail Sarah Dinsmore at Sarah.Dinsmore@willowsatcitiation.com.
DLG wishes you a wonderful February, and we hope that you’ll check back next month to see what we have going on in March!
